Cracking the code

The first character (b or c) indicates whether the mesh is for a body or a cranium (head). The next three digits are the mesh number.

The next character is "f", "m", or "u" for female, male, or universal/unisex, followed by "a" for adult or "c" for child.

Body meshes include three characters for the body type: "fat", "fit", "skn" (skinny), or "chd" (child), although occasionally you will see a custom body type. Cranium (head) meshes don't have body type codes.

Next comes an underscore. Finally there is a unique identifier such as "01" or a designer's tag, indicating a variation on the basic mesh.
