	Carla salutes the gravestone of sites that have closed. We keep these sites on our list because we often run across links to them. Besides providing a memorial to the great sites that have departed from the sims community, it provides you with a ready reference when you're wondering if a site is still around.
	Moon Sims pays all the hosting and bandwidth costs for the sites we host. See the table in the main navigation menu on the right for a complete list of all the sites we host. We are sorry, but we do not have the resources to host any more sites. That's why we created SimsHost.
	We created SimsHost to provide you with a way to support the hosting costs for Sims sites at the lowest possible cost to you. Your Simshost subscription will cost you less than half what you'll pay for any one stand-alone subscription site, and dramatically less that you'll pay for items from any "free" site that charges $1 to $10 to download a single item. Just one subscription gives you access to dozens of sites that comprise the largest Sims site in the word; and your subsciption costs will not increase even as additional sites are added.
	When you see us with our shopping cart, you know the site offers Sims shopping à la carte. That is, they offer items that you pay for by the piece. Many of them also offer a lot of "free" downloads, but this is not universal. We've just started identifying the à la carte sites, so you are likely to find many that we don't yet have an icon for. Since we do this manually, we might make some blunders; so if you find an entry that's out of order or on the wrong page, please do post a note about it in the Moon Sims Yahoo group. (I'm sorry, but the incredible load of spam has forced us to give up on trying to do these things through email.)"

Caddy says, "If you can't find the site you're looking for in the alphabetical list, look under "The --". Many popular sites use "the" as the first word of their names; often even as part of the URL. All the links to web sites outside Moon Sims will open in a new window.

"This morning, August 4, 2002, I counted 680 entries in the links list. Since there are (or have been) more than 1200 sims sites on the net, that means we have about 600 sites to go! So if you know of a site that we missed, please do send a note about it to Pasiphae.

"Webmasters, if you would like a graphical gizmo to link to Moon Sims, check out our banners and buttons page. We don't put buttons or banners in our links list because it would take forever for the user to download and display hundreds of little images, but we are still trying to work out a way to have some buttons and banners pages to complement our text-oriented links list."

Carla says, "Many sites are supported by discussion groups on Yahoo! and EZBoard. These discussion boards can be a wonderful way to get to know other fans of the game, to learn about new sites and updated, and to get answers to your questions about the game.
