ANATOLIAN CIVILIZATIONS PAGE

i want to indicate my special thanks to Miche and Delphy and all the talented people of Modthesims2 group for their valuable effort in creating the tool for making new objects for Sims2...

you can find this tool at : http://meshtool.modthesims2.com

The Sims is the best simulation game ever made. It has gained universal acceptance and played by people all over the globe. The universal nature of the game is so powerful that i am astonished with the widespread multinational visitor coverage of dh-sims-site over the years. I am receiving fan mails from many parts of the world, from Alaska to Maori Islands. People from different cultures play this game and they are always curious about the other cultures of the world. This is why i love to create game stuff for the different cultures of our world. I am sure everybody loves to have some authentic objects from various cultures in their game, this is like culture tourism. Having knowledge about what other nations use in their everyday life, which furniture do they use, which art objects do they have... Talking about culture, Anatolia has a special place in the whole world. This is the most colorful place on earth in regard of civilizations. Being the bridge between Europe and Asia, Anatolia hosted a wide variety of civilizations in history. This is why Anatolia is the richest place in the world in regard of archeological sites and ruins. The history of civilizations extends to 7000 B.C. in Anatolia. First an unknown civilization was here at Girnavaz, Mardin dated before Egyptian civilization and Stonehenge, later Sumer and Hatti realm was here at central Anatolia which used the first known scripting. Phrighians then came and ended this civilization. The western parts of Anatolia hosted Lidhians and Ionians. Eastern regions were ruled by Urarthu and Persians. The famous Makedonian Alexander the Great came and ruled this land for a long period until Romans ended his realm. Later the Roman empire is divided into two and Anatolia was the part of East Roman empire known as Byzanthium. In the end Turks came here from central Asia and established the Ottoman Empire which in the end came out to be the contemporary Turkey. This is why i decided to make an Anatolian Civilizations Page for those who could not have the opportunity to come and see this land of civilizations...

Aided with the years of experience in 3Dgraphics, i designed the replicas of many famous archeological ruins and made them for Sims1 in the past. Unfortunately it is impossible to make most of these lovely objects for Sims2 because of the high detail of the meshes. Most of the meshes has over 50000 polygons which is too high for the game renderer to handle. Following are the Anatolian  archeological objects which were feasible to work in the game...

For those who wants to download this lot and use in their game, a community lot version is available at my houses page...

ORIENTAL HAMMAM

Originally i prepared this oriental bath as a part of my Moroccan Set but later i realized that there are too many similarities with old Turkish Hammam (bath) in the theme... When we look at Ottoman baths we can see all these authentic items, so i decided to name the theme as Oriental Hammam...
